Once in life, you fall in love with someone. It might be
temporary, might be at wrong time and might be with the wrong person. But as
love looks for no time, no place, it only happens, you can’t question it at
all. Love is an indeed nice thing ever happen to someone but what if your love
is one sided. You love that person but he does not love you, or you don’t even
know if he loves you. That is the situation of an unreciprocated love and
unrequited love or untold, unuttered love, whatever the case might be. And many
of us go through the same state of life.
No one knows when loves start, how it nurtures and how it
grows and eventually how it grows cold. You are a happy go lucky person today
and the very next day you come across a person by any of means, either through
a common friend, in a social meet or through the online surfing. You get
attracted to this person without even realizing that you are blowing in his/her
thoughts. Seconds, minutes, hours and days pass away and you incline towards
this person with no intention, with no clue at all. And the time comes when you
start realizing that you are in love. In every thought of yours, in your dreams
and even in your every heart beat the person gets his/her space. This one-sided
love is twofold affair. In some cases, you are the centre of that one sided
love or in some other, you fall for someone. Though in the first case, you
might feel privileged that you are being loved by someone, it is equally
painful experience like second one when you are the subject of one-sided love.
Denying someone’s proposal might be easy for any of us but it equally carries
the same pain inside. Well, keeping the other point sided; let’s come to the
second case. How would you feel, if you are denied by someone or in case if you
are not even able to let the person know about your love to him. The situation
is indeed excruciating and more dramatic as well.
Love happens, no doubt it does. It is exceptionally hard to
opt intentionally with whom, where, how and when. It is next to impossible that
you can shun one sided love. Being trapped in this cage is itself very sad and
bad. And what if it is your first love? Despite the fact how it starts, how it
goes on and how it ends up, one sided love eventually takes you in to the one
of the most painful misery of life. It is one of the cruelties of life that
leads many of us in unwanted and undesired and unseen trails.
Then there might be two choices. Either you let that person
know about your love or you stay quiet, waiting for some miracle to happen. For
many of you it may look like that uttering your love to your beloved and
getting the answer, no matter it is positive or negative gets you take away the
pain, hammering you daily. But, no, letting know him/ her and getting the
negative response, as he/ She does not feel like this, she/ he never thought
this way breaks you inside and your so called dream shatters with no sound. And
for the day, two or more, your life just gets stuck on the moment, with no idea
of moving where and how further. The second case, when you are not going to say
that love anyway to him/her, is equally or even more agonizing. The moments,
when you know that you love that person, you want to embrace him/her, you want
to spend your life with him. But the
pity thing, you can’t even express your love.
That is the situation of unuttered one-sided love!!!
